PHILADELPHIA — Saquon Barkley sustained an injury and did not return to action in the Eagles ’ win over the Giants on Sunday.
But don’t expect Barkley to miss time moving forward.
Barkley suffered a groin injury on the last play of the third quarter of the Eagles’ 38-20 win over the Giants at Lincoln Financial Field.
Barkley, who rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries, pulled up with a slight limp after a 28-yard run to close the third quarter. He spoke to the training staff, was evaluated in the blue medical tent and watched the rest of the game from the sideline.
Barkley addressed the severity of the injury in the Eagles’ postgame locker room.
