Josh Allen didn’t just beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. He beat one of their legends, too.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback passed former Panthers star Cam Newton for the most games in NFL history with both a passing and rushing touchdown, doing it for the 46th time in his career.
Allen reached the milestone with a 1-yard rushing score in the second quarter, then added a short pass to Khalil Shakir in the third quarter that turned into a 54-yard touchdown after multiple broken tackles. Allen later ran for another 1-yard touchdown , his second of the day.
The performance also pushed Allen further up the league’s all-time rushing touchdown list. He now ranks 35th in NFL history , and second among active players, behind only Derrick Henry (111), with 70 rushing touchdowns, more
