CHARLOTTE - A.J. Epenesa knows exactly what kind of grief he’s going to get when the Buffalo Bills sit down to watch the game tape from Sunday’s 40-9 blowout victory over the Carolina Panthers .
“I'm hearing it all right now, but I'm just going to say … 17 has the ball, right? Offense has the ball, right?” the veteran edge rusher said of his third-quarter interception which he fell one yard shy from scoring a touchdown on.
“Yeah, obviously I wanna score that, but turnovers and giving our offense a chance is the biggest thing there. I'd love to do it myself and get some points on defense but I'm just happy we forced a turnover and gave it back to Josh (Allen) and now our offense has a chance.”
Epenesa’s interception was one of three Buffalo takeaways, and they were all impactful. Epe
