The President's Cup is headed back to Tahlequah for the first time in more than a decade. The Northeastern State Riverhawks stunned in-state rival Central Oklahoma 28-21 on Saturday night in Edmond. It's the Riverhawks first win over UCO since 2013. With the victory, NSU improves to 5-3 on the season.

Riverhawks Take Home The Cup

Despite the Bronchos outgaining the Riverhawks by 134 yards, NSU never trailed in the game. The Riverhawks jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the 2nd quarter thanks to a pair of rushing touchdowns from Ramon McKinney Jr. (64 yards) and Donnie Smith (1 yard). The Bronchos were able to add a 2-yd touchdown pass with 36 seconds left in the first half to cut the deficit to 7 at halftime.
