ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – An Albuquerque man is behind bars Sunday evening after police say he killed a man at a house party. Saturday morning, APD responded to a home near Bridge and Central, where they found a 25-year-old male dead inside.

Police say someone called 911 saying they found the victim the night before and said he may have slipped and hit his head. But after interviewing people, police say 23-year-old Caleb Parker Arias and the victim got into an altercation after everyone left the party.

Police say Arias went to a friend's house and told him he killed the victim. They say Arias admitted to drinking and doing cocaine during the party. He was arrested and facing a charge of murder.
