The state playoffs get underway Friday and Saturday with district semifinals across the state. Eight teams will try to repeat as champions with one of them, Jackson Lumen Christi, going for its fifth consecutive title.

Lumen Christi is led by legendary coach Herb Brogan, who owns the third most victories in state history and will take a team with a 6-3 record into Division 6 play.
