The Cleveland Browns announced on Sunday, that rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders would be inactive for their Week 8 game against the New England Patriots due to a back injury.
Sanders, who has been QB2 for the past two contests, was added to the Browns' official injury report Saturday and listed as questionable, and he was then ruled out on Sunday with practice squad QB Bailey Zappe being elevated to the No. 2 spot.
