A three-vehicle crash on Lakeville Highway in Sonoma County left one person dead, another hospitalized, and a third one arrested Sunday morning, according to Santa Rosa CHP.
The CHP said officers responded to a three-vehicle crash on Lakeville Highway, south of Old Lakeville Road #3, just before 6 a.m.
Preliminary investigation indicates a Ford Mustang traveling southbound crossed the double yellow lines to pass a Toyota Highlander, colliding head-on with a Honda HR-V traveling northbound, according to authorities.
Officials said the impact caused the Toyota to spin off the roadway after being struck on the left side.
CHP reports the passenger of the Honda sustained fatal injuries and the driver was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with major injuries. Officials add the Ford
