Adrian Peterson was arrested for DWI this weekend, marking his second arrest for DWI in 2025.

The 40-year-old former NFL player was arrested on Sunday morning (October 26) at around 10am local time in Sugar Land, Texas.

TMZ reports that Adrian , who was allegedly driving while under the influence, was “booked on two charges of DWI and one charge of unlawful carrying of a weapon.”

Adrian was arrested for DWI while in Minnesota back in April.

The athlete, who was born in Texas, spent seven season on the Minnesota Vikings and is best known for his years with that team. Back in 2014, he had another run-in with the law when he was indicted for child abuse , which led to him being suspended without pay for the remainder of that football season.
