ATLANTA — A woman was shot early Sunday morning south of Downtown Atlanta in what police believe was a road rage incident.

According to an Atlanta Police Department statement, officers responded around 2 a.m. to Grady Memorial Hospital where the 36-year-old victim had gone in a private vehicle.

Police said the investigation determined she may have been shot in a road rage incident that originated on Pulliam Street near I-75/85.

No additional information about the incident was available.
