VANCOUVER Wash. (KPTV) - A man is dead after being found with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of an apartment complex in northeast Vancouver on Sunday morning, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Shortly before 8 a.m., deputies were called to apartments near Northeast 19th Avenue and Northeast 94th Street after people reported hearing gunshots.

They found a man who had been shot sitting in the front seat of a car, where he died.

Witnesses told deputies they saw two Black men in masks “going back and forth between the victim vehicle and a red Lexus after hearing the shots,” CCSO said.

The back window of the Lexus had been shattered, and the car’s rear end was damaged, CCSO said.

The two men then drove away in the Lexus. CCSO said they tracked the car south on Interstate
