CLEVELAND — It’s been a heart-wrenching month for Eric Paradiso.

His 16-year-old son, Aniaz Paradiso, was s hot and killed in September near West 130th Street and Lorain Avenue after a fight at a party at an Airbnb vacation rental.

“I’m disappointed, I’m confused, I’m let down. It’s hard to have faith that the right things are going to transpire at the end of this,” said Paradiso.

The teen was a junior at Valley Forge High School.

“He left his impact on a lot of people in his short sixteen years,” said Paradiso.

A few days after the shooting, the Cleveland Division of Police announced a 35-year-old man had been charged with the teen’s murder. However, that charge has since been dropped. Online court records show the man now faces only a weapons charge.
