CLEVELAND — Cleveland police are investigating a series of break-ins that left more than three dozen cars damaged across the Ohio City and Detroit-Shoreway neighborhoods overnight Sunday.
According to a press release, suspects left around 37 cars damaged in various locations between midnight and 5 a.m.
"Preliminary information indicates that the suspects appear to be targeting vehicles for valuables or weapons," police said. "Detectives are working diligently to identify those responsible and prevent additional incidents. The suspects may be using one or more vehicles and may also be traveling on foot when committing these break-ins."
The Cleveland Division of Police asked that any residents and business owners in the two west side neighborhoods to "review any available surveillance
