Silver Haired Legislator Tom Schwartz outlined the top concerns Kansas seniors identified during the Silver Haired Legislature’s annual session in Topeka earlier this month.

Speaking to Dickinson County Commissioners at their Oct. 16 work session, Schwartz spoke about the body of elected senior representatives that debated and passed five resolutions on issues affecting Kansans age 60 and older.

Because not all of the commissioners were aware of the Silver Haired legislature, he first explained its function.
