BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Rainy Stretch Continues: Rain chances stay elevated through tonight and into early Monday as that sluggish upper-level low finally begins to pull away to the northeast. Expect periods of showers overnight, with a few lingering into early Monday morning. By late in the day, drier air will begin to work in—so we should finally catch a break—but don’t be surprised if a few stray showers hang around to start the week.
Mid to Late Week: Another System on the Way: Tuesday looks like our breather. Clouds mix with sunshine, and most of the day stays dry. Then we gear up for round two. By Tuesday night, another system sweeps in from the northwest, bringing widespread rain back into the forecast for Wednesday. Some locations could easily pick up more than an inch of
