THE NEXT 24 HOURS: We issued a First Alert Weather Day for heavier pockets of rain that are currently in progress, impacting your Monday morning commute.

Heavier rounds of rain will taper off by mid-morning, and clouds will linger throughout the day, keeping highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

Overnight, clouds remain, and temperatures will be in the 50s.

THE NEXT BIG THING: We will remain cloudy on Tuesday with rain rolling in late Tuesday evening.

Another cold front sweeps through the Southeast during the day on Wednesday, and you can expect periods of heavy rain again. This will also drop temperatures into the 50s both Wednesday and Thursday afternoon into the upper 50s.
