A Black 7-year-old boy was reported missing from a home in the Seabrook area Sunday afternoon, New Orleans police said.

Ja'Corey Shannon was reported missing from the 7000 block of Lawrence Road in New Orleans East at 3:44 p.m. when relatives noticed he was missing and called the authorities, according to the New Orleans Police Department. Police said they were still working to obtain a photo and description of the boy as of Sunday night.
