The Steelers suffered a pair of major injuries Sunday night — one of which came on one of the stranger plays you’ll ever see.

Starting left guard Isaac Seumalo left the game with a pectoral injury and was originally deemed questionable to return but was ruled out less than an hour later. Seumalo is the veteran presence on a young offensive line, which is now thrown into flux without him there to anchor the unit.

But arguably the bigger injury came to safety DeShon Elliott, who was immediately ruled out with a knee injury after getting his leg caught during a tackle that probably shouldn’t have had to happen.
