Westerly upper level winds brought even warmer temperatures across the state today along with some high level cloud coverage. Winds also picked up slightly with gusts up to 30 mph in some locations. Warm weather will continue into Monday with lighter winds. A backdoor cold front moves into eastern New Mexico overnight Monday and into Tuesday, dropping highs back down to around and slightly below average Tuesday afternoon. The cold front will continue to move through the rest of the state through Wednesday morning. This will bring some of the coldest air of the season so far.
