MLB Trade Rumors | Mark Polishuk: While it’s not the kind of staff change that a lot of people probably want, the Yankees reportedly did make one personnel move on Sunday. Desi Druschel is reportedly set to return to the Yankees, joining the team as an assistant pitching coach. Druschel spent time in a similar role from 2022-24, but spent last year as an assistant pitching coach across town with the Mets. Since their pitching coach, Jeremy Hefner, was dismissed, his assistants were granted permission to seek other jobs. Further reports say that either he or fellow assistant pitching coach Preston Claiborne will serve as the bullpen coach after the departure of Mike Harkey.
