Four teenage girls facing trial for the 2023 Warrawong street brawl that left Kristie McBride dead have pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
The girls, who were aged 13 to 15 at the time of the incident, had initially all pleaded not guilty to murder.
In a pre-trial hearing in the Supreme Court on October 27, the four girls, now aged between 16 and 17 all pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Justice Richard Cavanagh adjourned the matter for sentencing on December 15, with a sentence to be handed down in February.
Two of the girls remain in custody, and two remain on bail.
A jury panel had been kept waiting all day in case it went to trial, but was released on the afternoon of October 27.
