A Perth singer studying at Berklee College of Music has been accepted into a prestigious music production program taught by professionals who have worked with Beyoncé and Prince.
Perri Hinton moved to Boston at age 18 to pursue her dreams of becoming a musician and producer and is closer to “world domination” after being accepted into Berklee’s competitive music production and engineering program.
Getting into the program means the 20-year-old can bring her ideas and song lyrics to life inside Berklee’s world-class studios, with the recording complex considered one of the largest in the US.
She will also learn crucial skills needed to forge a career path in the current music production industry.
“I feel incredibly lucky to have been accepted,” Hinton said.
