INDIANAPOLIS – The MVP talk surfaced toward the end of Jonathan Taylor ’s magical 2021 sophomore season but Sunday afternoon at Lucas Oil Stadium, Colts fans were practically demanding it to be true.

And Indianapolis head coach Shane Steichen believes they’re well-placed.

The roars of ‘M-V-P’ began early in Sunday’s 38-14 romp of the woeful Tennessee Titans (1-7), as Taylor cut inside from the right edge, waited for a block to come together and then sprinted for the right-side pylon to close the first quarter for the first of his three scores and give the Colts (7-1) a 10-0 lead the home squad wouldn’t surrender.
