LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

LMPD is on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Newburg.

This happened sometime before 4:00 a.m. Monday morning on the 5500 block of Ridgecrest Road, near Rosette Boulevard.

Police say there is no threat to the public but are asking that people avoid the area due to the investigation.
