The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation ( BMC ) will build a new cable-stayed bridge across the Goregaon Creek to reduce traffic congestion between Goregaon and Oshiwara. The project will cost INR 418 crore. Work on the project is expected to begin next month, and it will likely be completed by October 2028.
The bridge will create a direct link between Link Road and Bhagat Singh Nagar. It will run along the 36.6-meter-wide DP Road. The total length of the structure will be 542 metres. Out of this, 238 metres will be cable-stayed.
