HARTFORD TWP., Ohio - The Ohio Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of an overnight fire in Trumbull County.
A passerby reported seeing flames on the second floor of a home on the 3800 block of Custer Orangville Road in Hartford Township just after 3:30 a.m. Monday. The caller also told dispatchers that people were standing outside the burning house.
The first firefighter to arrive at the address reported smoke coming from the home.
Brookfield, Burghill, Orangeville, Fowler, and Vernon fire departments were all dispatched.
No injuries have been reported.
The Red Cross is being contacted to help the residents with shelter and other needs.
