MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (KFVS) - A crash is affecting traffic in both directions on a portion of Interstate 24 in Marshall County on Monday morning, October 27.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, crews are working to recover and clear a vehicle from the median near the Calvert City/Kentucky Dam Exit 27.

KYTC said the westbound lanes of I-24 are temporarily blocked.

Traffic is being detoured to the exit 27 off-ramp to U.S. 62, then returning to I-24 westbound using the on-ramp.

Eastbound traffic is reduced to one lane.

Drivers are urged to use caution.

KYTC said there is no estimate as to how long traffic will be affected.

There are no details on what caused the crash or if there are any injuries.
