SYDNEY: Shreyas Iyer, who sustained serious injuries during the third match against Australia, has been admitted to a hospital in Sydney. This was confirmed by the Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI). He hurt his left rib cage while fielding.

Internal bleeding was detected. Iyer is undergoing treatment and is recovering, said the BCCI said.
