A majority of Americans believe President Donald Trump is using the Justice Department to spearhead a campaign of retribution, according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll .
The Reuters/Ipsos six-day poll that concluded Oct. 20 found that 55% of respondents believe Trump is using federal law enforcement to “go after his enemies,” while 26% disagreed and the remainder were unsure or did not answer. The poll, which was conducted online, gathered responses from 4,385 U.S. adults nationwide.
Some 85% of the Reuters/Ipsos poll respondents who identified themselves as Democrats agreed that Trump is targeting his political enemies, compared to 29% of Republicans.
