The Dallas Cowboys took a beating in their Week 8 matchup with the Denver Broncos. The 44-24 drubbing erased all the good vibes that had been building around Dallas after it seemed their defense was starting to come together just a bit. Turns out that was a false dawn.
Injuries, just plain bad play, mixed in with some untimely penalties, all added up to a horrendous performance by the defense. Around the same time, Dak Prescott had one of his poorer games in a while, so the offense couldn’t keep up. Some credit has to go to the Denver defense, too.
Now the Cowboys return back home for Week 9, a Monday night game against the Arizona Cardinals. After that, Dallas has a bye. So the Cowboys can enter that week off with an even 4-4-1 record with a win, or a 3-5-1 record with a loss. The Cardi
