The third day of the Chhath festival, known as Sandhya Arghya is observed by devotees on Monday, October 27. On this day, Arghya (offering) is made to the Sun in the evening, which is considered an important ritual. The festival dedicated to worshipping Lord Surya, the Sun God, and Chhathi Maiya includes fasting, several rituals, and prayers to seek health, prosperity, and well-being for the entire family.
