A large high-pressure system over Quebec will bring cooler temperatures to Massachusetts this week, with a chance for heavy rain on Thursday.
It’ll be a sunny start to Monday across Massachusetts, with cloud cover growing as the day goes on. High temperatures should range from 50 to 55, with higher elevations seeing temperatures in the upper 40s.
"Winds will not be too bad, though, from the north at 5 to 15 mph," National Weather Service forecasters wrote.
Tuesday and Wednesday look to be more of the same, with temperatures again in the low to mid 50s, and cooler in higher elevations. That said, there is a chance for some ocean-enhanced scattered showers near and southeast of Interstate 95 overnight Tuesday.
“Expect cool, raw and occasionally wet conditions near and southeast of I-95,”
