A crash is affecting traffic in both directions on Interstate 24 in Marshall County this morning.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, crews are working to recover a vehicle from the median near the Calvert City Exit 27.

The westbound lanes of I-24 are temporarily blocked. Traffic is being detoured to the exit 27 off-ramp, then crossing US 62 and returning to I-24 using the opposing on-ramp.

Eastbound traffic is reduced to one lane.

No estimate wa given how long it would take to clear the scene.
