A single-vehicle crash was the cause of a power outage in the city’s south end that resulted in more than 2,000 customers losing electricity early Monday, London Hydro officials say.
It was just before 1:30 a.m. on Monday when London police announced that a section of Upper Queen Street had been closed between Wilkins Street and Clarendon Crescent after a crash investigation in the area.
“There will be road closures, power outages and traffic delays,” police officials wrote on social media, noting more information would be provided as it becomes available.
