The warm fall weather has allowed me to complete a lot more jobs in the garden. I am one of those gardeners who cleans up the gardens in the fall. But I have lots of neighbours who do not do any fall cleanup so pollinators will have somewhere to spend the winters, just not at my house.

With my garden cleaned up. I was able to find more room to plant spring bulbs. I love daffodils and there is still time to plant more. Actually, there is still time to plant any of the spring bulbs and there are some great deals on bulbs at this time.

If you only have a small space, you can layer bulbs. Dig a deep hole and plants the largest bulbs on the bottom, followed by a layer of soil, and work your way up to the smallest, early spring bulbs near the surface.
