NEW ORLEANS — The National Weather Service in New Orleans is asking the public to submit reports after were detected in southeast Louisiana on Sunday morning.
Tornado warnings were issued between 4:37 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on October 26.
The weather service is requesting reports of damage, including downed trees, roof damage and structural impacts, particularly in the areas of Houma, Thibodaux, Raceland, Killian, Whitehall, Luling, Kenner, Hammond, Loranger and Bogalusa.
Officials are asking residents to include the location, approximate time of occurrence and a picture when it is safe to do so.
