The city's Christmas celebrations are edging ever closer, and organisers behind this year's events have confirmed that the lights will be moving from their usual home.
The city council has reviewed its festive offering and is working on “a new approach to winter events”, with George Square, which usually hosts the Christmas lights switch-on and a market, closed for refurbishment until at least summer next year.
The main attractions people can expect will now be found at Glasgow Green and St Enoch Square , however Glasgow Life have also confirmed where the city's famous Christmas lights will be this year.
