Glasgow has just been named as one of cheapest places around the UK to get fish and chips .
According to a recent study, Glasgow was named in the top 10, with an average price of just £10.37. The only other Scottish city on the list – which saw Manchester come out on top, was Dundee – which placed slightly higher up with an average of £9.47.
The study by WDW Bingo has crunched the numbers and revealed where the top 10 cheapest fish and chips can be found in the UK, with prices reflecting the average cost of a standard portion of fish (cod or haddock) and chips in each city and town.
Manchester topped the list as the most budget-friendly spot for a portion of fish and chips, averaging just £8.94.
