NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A man driving a moped in Newberry County was killed Sunday night, the South Carolina Highway Patrol says.

The moped was reportedly traveling east around 8:30 p.m. on US 276 near Colony Church Rd. when it was hit from behind by a 2010 Honda Sedan, causing the driver to fall into the road.

SCHP says the moped driver died at the scene; the driver of the Honda was uninjured.

The crash is under investigation by SCHP.
