After a damp and windy weekend, Portland should see scattered showers through Monday morning and then some clearing in the afternoon.
The National Weather Service says once the current weakening shortwave moves over the metro area, a ridge will begin growing in the region and northwest flow will replace the southwest flow that’s cause rain to linger in the area.
Portland will see showers through the morning, then partly sunny skies. The high temp will reach about 56 degrees.
Tuesday has a 20% chance of rain under mostly cloudy skies. The high temperature will be near 58 degrees.
Heavier rain is likely overnight into early Wednesday morning with as much as a quarter inch possible. Portland will see light showers continue into Wednesday, then afternoon clearing to mostly sunny skies. The
