PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- Another round of mostly dry and pleasant autumn conditions remains for Portland on Tuesday before the next round of rain arrives.

Mostly cloudy skies will remain overhead on Tuesday as afternoon temperatures warm into the mid to upper 50s along the Willamette Valley. A few brief and light rain showers are possible along the coast before sunset Tuesday evening and a few of those showers could move into the greater Portland-Vancouver area.

Portland's next round of rain arrives late on Tuesday night and continues through Wednesday morning. Rain accumulation could be near a quarter to a half inch from the Coast to the foothills of the Cascades.
