JASPER, Ind. (WEVV) — Jasper, Indiana community mourns the loss of a teenager last week.

16-year-old Jasmyn Lorey passed away on October 24th in Jasper.

She was a junior at Jasper High School, serving as the team manager for Jasper High School wresting team and former cheerleader. She was also a member of Redemption Christian Church and worked at Headquarters restaurant.

In an obituary posted by Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home:

"Jasmyn was kind, sensitive, and a free spirit. She was always up for an adventure whether it was going to concerts, ballgames, or band competitions. Jasmyn was always rooting for the underdog and was probably rooting for you too."

Visitation for Jasmyn is schedule Tuesday, October 28th from 2PM to 7PM at Redemption Christian Church.
