When the John N. Hall Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg was broken into in August, it was a tough moment for our staff, volunteers, and—most of all—the kids who count on us every day.

Computers and TV’s were smashed, furniture was destroyed, and walls were defaced. Rooms that should have been filled with laughter were left silent. But what happened next was nothing short of remarkable.

Support poured in from every direction—individuals, businesses, churches, sororities and fraternities, and corporations across Central Pennsylvania and beyond. Many who had never stepped inside our club reached out, determined to help.

Because of that generosity, we were able to reopen stronger than ever, restoring not just equipment and supplies, but the sense of hope and belonging our kid
