Bambolim, Oct 27: Punjab FC made a powerful start to their Super Cup campaign with a commanding 3-0 win over Gokulam Kerala FC in their Group C opener at Goa on Monday. First-half goals from Muhammad Suhail, Nikhil Prabhu, and Princeton Rebello sealed a convincing victory for the defending ISL champions.

Punjab signalled their attacking intent early, with Samir Zeljkovic forcing a save from Gokulam goalkeeper Shibinraj Kunniyil before Suhail’s deflected cross looped into the net, giving Punjab an early lead.
