LEBANON, Ohio (WXIX) - The Humane Association of Warren County announced a major expansion of clinic services that will allow shelter veterinarians to see more than twice as many animals.
The expansion includes swapping the clinic space with the dog warden’s offices to create more room for surgeries and patient care.
The shelter will also add telehealth visits for pets, making it just the second shelter in Ohio to offer virtual veterinary consultations.
“We’ve tried to fill it with the space we have now, but we’ve outgrown it significantly,” said Eli Hurley, Director of the Humane Association of Warren County. “The space that we have was never built for something like high-volume surgeries.”
