PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) - Representative Christine Drazan will run again for Oregon governor in 2026, according to campaign records filed with the Oregon Secretary of State’s office.
Drazan, a Republican from Canby, will publicly make the announcement Monday at 11 a.m. in Portland.
This is not the first time she’s run for Oregon’s top office. Drazan ran as the Republican candidate in the 2022 election but ultimately lost to current Governor Tina Kotek.
Last week, Drazan was appointed to the Oregon Senate by Clackamas, Hood River, Multnomah and Wasco county commissioners. She was chosen to replace State Senator Daniel Bonham after he announced his resignation on Sept. 15.
