MASON CITY, Iowa – A woman allegedly caught in Clear Lake with meth and fentanyl is pleading not guilty.

Jamie Lynn Daniel, 45 of Mason City, was pulled over around 1:11 am on October 3 in the area of Highway 122 and North40th Street. Cerro Gordo County sheriff’s deputies say they found about five ounces of methamphetamine, a user amount of fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia in Daniels' possession.

Daniels was charged with intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, and possession of a controlled substance

A trial is now set to start on December 2.
