'We're working on staying': Jon Stewart discusses his future as host of 'The Daily Show'

WASHINGTON — Jon Stewart is reportedly working to remain as the host of "The Daily Show."

Stewart, who left the late-night show in 2015 and returned in early 2024, said he's working to sign another contract with Comedy Central during a conversation at the New Yorker Festival on Sunday. The comedian's contract as host for the show will end in
