HAMBLEN COUNTY, Tenn — The Hamblen County Sheriff's Office said investigators are looking for a man who they said posed as a woman on Facebook Marketplace and posted a fraudulent listing for a $30,000 tractor.
The sheriff's office said it received a report from a resident Saturday who saw his Kubota tractor was falsely listed for sale on Facebook Marketplace for $30,000. They said the tractor was listed under the name "Angela Dawn Benz."
The next day, Sheriff Chad Mullins and Detective Lieutenant Jim Brooks met with the victim at a local business where the victim arranged a meeting with the suspect under the pretense of buying the tractor.
