REDDING, Calif. - The Shasta County District Attorney's Office says that on Friday, Roger Pyatt Price was sentenced to 11 years and 4 months, plus an additional 25 years to life in state prison.
Price's sentencing on Friday followed convictions in two separate criminal cases.
The first case involved an incident on June 5, 2024, when Redding Police Department officers stopped Price during a traffic stop. Officers found a handgun, 100 rounds of ammunition, and numerous baggies of methamphetamine in his vehicle, along with items indicating sales of a controlled substance.
